My First Nano Tank

First Hi!
This my first nano, and i think my design and photography is very bad... I used java moss on "moss wall " and a rock.

Plants :
  • Rotala Rotundifiola
  • Hemianthus Micra
  • Java Moss
  • Elodea (For short time...)

Equipmets :
  • SunSun Filter
  • 50 watt Risheng heather
  • 20 watt light
  • DIY CO2

Substrate :
  • Black Quartz Sand

Fertilizer :
For now only DeepFloramin Fe

Photos :

I have some questions about this tank :
* I want use hemianthus micras as carpeting plants. That's possible?
* This nano is good for shrimps?
*What is your comment about design?
* Cubas are can live in this tank?
Sorry for my bad English...

Thanks for comments

I think its a good design. It WILL work for keeping shrimp (and probably breeding too). the micras...I have no clue haha. Oh and your camera skills are great (better than mine I can't stay still...) Good Luck!

I think you should try some DHG or HC as a carpet plant in that tank. It seems like all those plants look quite similar. Also what is the blue thing connecting to airline tubing? is it an air stone?

No I can't. Unfortunately my tank was cracked. I did a new tank for it. I think this will be better than before...

Thank you for comment

1-) Tablet fertilizer or liquid fertilizer?
2-) If you will say liquid which one in this options :

You should use both liquid and tablet fertilizers. Seachem Flourish comprehensive aquarium plant supplement and Seachem Flourish root tabs are good IME.

I think your newer tank is easier to maintain since you have more room for your hands to work with.
