So, I found out that they're not actually wild caught... Didn't think they were.
On a good note, he's been holding for 16 days! So I'm separating the female today and then it is just a game of waiting...

Got 32 fry! Really happy

caught them all and am feeding on microworms in morning (once) then brine for the rest of the day (3-4). I'll keep you posted!

The total has gone up to 35, I found a couple here and there in the tank. They are really cute! Eating anything they can and all have little stripes. Can't wait for them to get bigger!

Final number is 33. Two died, they were weaker ones. The rest are about 2cm now and look really good! They're all readily eating ground pellets with daily siphoning and water changes. Really happy with progress

The parents bred earlier but the male didn't hold. I think the water was too alkaline. I hope for another spawn soon!

Haha. They're coming. I'm getting a new camera soon so when I get that I'll put pics up. Shouldn't be long!
