My rilis yellow inside keeps growing

So Ive seen pictures of red rilis that have a little yellow inside them and pregnant ones with yellow eggs but I have one that seems to have a little more than any ive seen and getting a little bigger everyday. I looked close today and the yellow is honey comb shaped and almost looks like a bunch of eggs. Is this normal or a stupid question?

That yellow saddle will eventually come out and turn to eggs. The bigger the saddle the sooner she's going to get "berried" (pregnant).

That's what the saddle is. Nice i actually lost a couple of the rilis I got from you (leo) in a nitrite spike so I'm down to 4. So is she pregnant or does she still need to mate

She's pregnant. Just need the eggs to mature and travel down to her swimmer thingies. Forgot what you call them.

Ok so if they have a saddle they have already mated? I thought they had to transfer the eggs to the pleopods before they were viable? Interesting! Also how long from the time a shrimp saddles until she carries eggs! I have cherries, yellows and red rillis all with saddles....but no one is carrying eggs. Some have been saddled for months........is this normal? What should I do? I have tried water changes and no go......

Once shes fertilized, that's when the eggs travel down to the pleopods. Are those all in the same tank? Check your parameters first. Frequent water changes aren't good for shrimp. They like stable conditions.

No they are not in the same tank. I don't do a lot of water changes. I do mainly topoffs. I have done a water change in the past to try to stimulate them to breed.
