lighting for a 5.5 betta tank

I now have a little 5.5 tank on my kitchen counter and I need a light for this tank. I do have a screen top on it,to keep the betta in and (fishing) cat out.I need to keep this low cost. Any suggestions on a light and where to get one.The only LFS is Petco/Petsmart. They don't have any lights for tanks this small.I also want to get some mosses and low-growing plants for this. I would need a suggestion for mail-order for that too. The LFS only sells algae and pond snails with their dying plants. ...and thanks for your help! PS What would be a good clean-up crew to live with the betta in the 5.5 tank? I do need one!

A desk lamp is always cheap and easy. And depending on your betta, ghost shrimp might work.
