that I have big issues with paying $4 or more per freshwater dwarf shrimp (I'm a cherry kinda guy, I guess ), but I'll gladly pay $7 each for sexy anemone shrimp. Bought out the only store around here that sells them (they only had three left). And by "around here", I actually mean about 40 miles away. To top that off, once I figured out how much I had left over after selling a bunch of stuff, told them to get me at least 7 more and I'll buy whatever they get in, and I'm seriously considering getting a 20 long, building a sump, plumbing, stocking with frogspawns instead of anemones, etc just for them!

I think I'm a bit nuts.

Also, for those who don't know about sexy shrimpies, they are adorable little saltwater shrimpies that are red with white blotches and wiggle their booties in a little dance, hence the name sexy shrimp.

I love these little guys as well! Just set up two nano reefs and plan to get a couple of these as well

Nice, I have a friend has one that never picked it's pom poms up after molting and it carrys bristle worms now.

That's kinda like how clownfish will host just about anything that strikes their fancy - anemones, frogspawns, torch corals, clams, dead plate coral skeletons, powerheads, magnetic algae scrubbers. Clowns are special.

Got five more in his shipment today, and I bought all of them. they're dripping now, should be in the tank soon! This will make eight!

I'm also formulating my plan for their own tank (or tanks, if you watch out for my next thread ).

i think you mean vile little sh*ts that nibble on corals and anemones, and are impossible to get out. and somehow manage not to get eaten by a 6-line. took WEEKS to get it out with a bottle trap.

btw, watchout that adorable little bubble anemone will grow, a lot.

Yah, the bta will get huge. Ours is about 12" x 14" now and still growing. Takes up the center of the 180.

When I got it, it was the size of a nickel :-)

I know it will get big, and I love it! I already have one big 8" anemone in that tank, I definitely love it more than any of my coral.

This anemone is going back today, though. I noticed that when the fish store guy as taking out of the glass bowl he as in, he tore his foot in two places, and he said to bring it back to exchange it. Its the most beautiful one there, but id rather him not die in my possession because the store guy tore his foot.
