My First Try - 48L planted

AquaOne Internal Filter
AquaOne 55W heater
48L tank with Flourite at the bottom and small white/beige gravel on the top.
using a crappy 20W light from my broken tank (45cm LED light on order)
new driftwood that will still float so stone on top to help it sink
The Pierce CO2 starter package on order
Picked/cut some plants from my 2ft community tank
and this is how it looks on day 1
more plants on order.

Just beautiful. Looks like bacopa australis surrounded by the egg looking rocks. I have tons of those, I love them.

brought them in the name of micranthemum umbrosum and i picked the white egg stone from my garden. :-)

water parameters should be settled tomorrow. will put in some RCS and neons.

Day 2
water parameters are settled (used existing cycled gravel and filter)

I may sound stupid, but when I saw it, I thought it looked like a jungle oasis. The typical kind you think of from movies. It looks nice.

LED lights arrived. they are not as bright as my old crappy light......weird.......
new plants arrived as well
spend whole night to plant them in

Move out the neon tetra and move in my trio honey gourami
Moved around some plants and did a minor trim work
