Interesting tank. I would like to know more about it (plants, ferts, lights).

as far as plants go there is brazilian pennywort, rotala indica, p. stellatus, baby tears, giant baby tears, dwarf hygro, ludwigia repens X acrata, val, mosses, hornwort, some bacopa, and some red ludwigia.

I found my sand substrate and my stone from the local cascade rock supply.

I use the root tabs, and the micro/macro all in one dry fert from aquarium fertilizers .com daily at about 80 drops. I also dose Fourish Excel at 10ml daily.

I have one 65watt 6700k compact floro from catalina aquarium,
and an aqueon duel 18watt t5NO (Includes a Colormax lamp and a 6.7K lamp).

the lights stay on for about 6 hours go off for 2 then back on for 6.

so this tank seems to really be the holding cell for trimmings from my 20gl. My golden ram i had in here came down with a crazy case of cotton mouth and died . i took out some rock and the moss heres what it looks like now.

Good lookin setup!

Sorry about the Ram! They are one of my favorite fish, both the regular and golden! I haven't had any in a long time, as they are hard to find around here. Sometimes Pet Smart will have some but never look very good!

Anyway keep up the good work and pics too!

Looks to me like stargrass growing short

Talking about RAMs. I have seen lovely Rams at the Pet Superamarket in Smyrna Ga. The condition of the fish really depends on the interest of the employees though.
