ADA 60H reef

I know this is a planted tank forum but hey, I'm on here all the time so I wanted to share my reef too! I work at a LFS on the weekends as their planted guy, but I couldn't hold off on setting a reef anymore after seeing all the colorful corals every weekend!

Here's mine. It was running in a 20long for a while and i Just switched it over to the ADA tank last Saturday.

So... Specs
ADA 60H - 24lx12wx18h so about 23 gallons
sump - 10 gal standard tank
skimmer- bubble magnus nac 3.5
sicce syncra 1.5 return pump
AI sol blue LED
MP10ES
glass holes.com 750gph overflow kit
custom built stand
FHI rock

Livestock:
Fish- True Percula clown, purple firefish. I want to add a flasher wrasse of some kind soon
shrimp : fire shrimp, 2 peppermints

coral:
zoas, hammers, acans, sps, cool looking disc thing... I don't know the names of anything I have... I just get them because the color is cool.

Ok enough talk, here's the tank as it sits now.

I just picked this up today, Avast skimmate locker. I've been having my skimmer cup run into a 1 gal bottle, but it's overflowed a few times and thats no good. This thing looks really slick and very well built. Works great too! Shipping was ridiculous, I ordered it on Monday and it came on Thursday.

Nice work. I love the scape. How do you like the mp10? I can't justify the cost yet.

I love the mp10, I'm running it on reef crest mode so it goes from full blast to very low flow, all at random to simulate the environment on the reef crest. You can also have it go to night mode, so it runs at 25% at night time, and during feeding you can set it to feed mode so it doesn't blow the food around everywhere.

It was expensive yes, and probably overkill on a planted tank but corals like it a lot.

Totally legit! You have done an awesome job. I can't wait to move so I can have room for a reef tank.

Beautiful setup! I tore down my reef six years ago and I still miss it.
