I had the same trouble when I first joined the forum and Wasserpest recommended using an image hosting service. I use www.imageshack.us, but there are others. This will let you post pics.

Hello Imp- is your pic on here? I don't recall seeing it!
The Photographer on that shot was about 10' away hovering below us. it is amazing that moving at 120 miles an hour they can stay that close- imagine trying to do that at 85 on the highway in a car. The photographer has a special suit with webs from their wrists to their waste to control their speed and they plummet to the earth backward in a sitting position to be able to face up at the jumper from below through the whole ordeal. Very cool.

As for posting pics- I learned you can but a paying subscription for $10 a year from the quicklinks- and that way you can post pics of your tank too. Now instead of saying I have this greenish-bluish-brownish fuzzy stuff on everything I can post a pic of it instead. Who knew there were so may kinds of algae?

While I doubt it's anywhere close to jumping from a plane, having your picture taken while doing it sounds like an experience in itself! That's a great photo. Thanks for sharing the inside info on the photography--it gives me different level of appreciation when I see one of these shots.

Jumping without a chute?

Don't think I'd be bored either.

Giga-mike, your cats are beautiful ... and you have WAY too many hobbies! I always wanted to do some snowboarding, especially halfpipe.

Continuing on with the board theme, my ride back in the day before my bones got too old (going left!):

My current ride - a '66 blue 'bu (Chevelle)

And to return back to the fish theme, my husband just got a back from a trip to Mexico. Hubby on left with amberjack; on right, this is what they were after, big yellowfin tuna. The biggest caught on the trip was 210 lbs.

My husband's quote to other fishermen: "Never refer to your wife's aquarium as the bait tank ..."

mike - wish my house was as neat and tidy as yours!

Timeout - Damn. That's a big fish. The tuna on the right looks very grumpy!

Oh yeah! That Chevelle rocks! Beautiful color.....very nice.

I can only imagine what it's like to hook up to a fish monster like one of those two. Must be an adrenaline rush!

Great pics.

Giga-Mike,

I've been into R/C racing myself.

Here's my truck as it was two years ago:

And here's how it sits today:

Unfortunately, due to too many hobbies myself, that's all it's done for more than a year....sit. I did the paint jobs myself.....not too bad, I guess. We offroad with our Jeeps and ATVs, go camping, and keep fish (currently have 9 tanks running with another going up this weekend and another I'm dying to put up).

Then besides our hobbies, we have something much more personal that we spend a LOT of time doing. It's our joy, our life, our "can't go a day without" fixation.....and that's playing music. I've played drums for over 26 years and have been taking guitar lessons for a while, now. I used to play saxaphone and even violin for about a year.....'til I decided to switch to guitar. My wife plays keyboard/piano and my twins each play an instrument, acoustic guitar and keyboard.
