metal halide ballast
I'm looking for some guidance in lighting for a 94"long X 40"wide X 35"tall planted tank. substrate is flourite capped w/ pfs. co2 by ph controller. I can hang the lights as high as 20" above the tank. I was thinking three 400w mh hqi pendants? Also, I'm looking at the lumitek vrs the coralvue ballast?

Check out the new kessil amazon sun. Easily replaces metal halides at the same cost and much less on your energy bill.

It says they're equal to 150w....will that be strong enough, given the size and depth of my tank?
