Useful for Shrimp Keepers

I've been using this cart to tell if one shrimp species is compatible with another.
What do you think?

The source also has some info on keeping CRS.
(So you know: I tried to email him once about the CRS for sale, but no response)

Perhaps it's better suited as a general guideline.
The post was in 2010, so it still has some credibility, wouldn't you say?

Maybe a more useful/complete chart can be found here. http://www.shrimptank.ca/wp-content/...AE7CB284A2D2CD. I agree with mgamer2000 that the chart is incomplete. Your chart gives a general overview, yet I find the use of common names for shrimp difficult, since naming seems to be all over the place and new names are constantly come up with.

+1 to the chart above. Much more detailed and also includes scientific names allowing for easier identification. In your chart it just says "green" but there are green caridina and neocaridina. And there are a lot more popular shrimp out such as pumpkins and rilis that are missing.

Not that it's not credible, but simply outdated.

I can imagine what must have happened. Some breeder, after years of work getting a shrimp to look just so, thought to himself, "What could I name this breed so that people know instantly that it is majestic and beautiful?? I've got it!

LARRY!!!"

Yeah, someone almost as self-absorbed as Larry Ellison

Also, why can't we have tanks like the one in the picture to the right of the one in the link here in the US? Not fair! Lol

Probably only available overseas and the Shemping might be a lot from there.
