Nice setup Jojo. I like the title of the tank 'patience' it is only a virtue because I really don't have any!

Update. I just had to change the sand in the tank. sand was turning green. It look pretty bad so I just replaced it with ADA Mekong sand. Darker, at least it will not turn green.lol. I think it looks better with white sand though.

Dayum! That sure is a lot of Bucephalandra in there! Buces make an awesome foreground carpet. It'll be the next big thing.

I like the white sand better too.

Its been awhile but ....here are some updated pics. Plants are growing in still. (sorry,photos are a little blury).

Fern and buce. You can even see a zebra oto in there.

Wow everything looks great with the new sand and all! what is the sp. of plant on the last shot in the sand ("right side shot of the tank")??? Buec of some sort?

They are a dwarf form that looks like the 'tropica' version. Yes, the leaves on this java is very cool!

Glad you like the tank. The plant on the right side of the tank is a Buce species. I will check what location and let you know.

WOW!! Nice set up you have there Jojo!!! That tank looks ultra-clean and serene!! Have the buce's had a chance to start propping out yet since February, or are most in there the same plants you added originally?

Hi Don. Glad you like the scape. Yes, some of the buces are beginning to throw out some new plantlet. Most of them are just growing fuller. I am really enjoy the maintenance on this tank.
