Oakland Park here again..
Got an email from the Planted Aquarium Store that their having a sale Wednesday 12-4. I'm upgrading from a 10 to a 20g (hopefully) this week and am gonna convince hubby that I NEED some new plants, its like the sale was meant to be just for me. <3 Lol

And I'm down for a So Fla local meet up!

Hey guys JJ here in South Beach! I meeting would be nice. We would need someone willing to host it and pick a day that would work well for everyone.

I have 4 tanks going and all are planted. I'm also on the Barrreport.com and the FAPS site that we are shutting down and joining forces here.

Lets get a meeting going!

It was a site that Art Giacosa, he started APC, started to get a following of people in Florida. Due to inactivity, Art is shutting it down, and we are joining up with Aquatic Gardeners of Florida.

There are plenty of people here in South Florida to have a nice club and a meeting once a month or bi monthly.

We should try and get a count on who would attend. Then we need to find a place and set a date.

Swap meets would be cool, I started last Dec. and gathered my little collection from here and eBay. Growing shrimp collection too

Hosting would be tricky, unless someone volunteers their home with plenty of parking (the tricky part). Maybe a store? Planted Aquarium store is nice but small, there is however a restaurant next door. Also could talk to the people at NFS to setup a few chairs and host. Open to ideas.

Not sure what NFS is. I think a group to start off with of at least 10 would be plenty of room for parking.

I can host it at my house, I can have up to 20 people with as many cars with no problem, but 20 is the limit

it will have to be late august and i prefer during the week, say a Thursday at 7:30 to 10:30 or if need be on a Saturday a bit earlier
