GTA or mail order... PC bulbs?

Where do y'all get your power compact bulbs? Locally or mail order... I keep hearing such wonderful things about those GE 9325s, but can't find them anywhere (that I know of!).

Thanks!

Kathy

I would try www.jlaquatics.com. They are quite competitive.

have you checked mops.ca ?
their listed prices are not nearly as competitve as jl; but i did not proceed with checkout at jl to find out what the shipping costs would be to ontario, whereas Dan @ mops is operating out of Hamilton. might be worth the full comparison.

pls let me know what you decide! i'm due for new lights this summer.

I've picked up all my replacement pc bulbs from www.hellolights.com and have been very happy with all my experiences with them. They don't offer the 55W GEs, but they stock 6,700k, 8,800k, and 10,000k bulbs at great prices.

I get mine from brite-lite in Calgary. It's 15.95cdn for full spectrum 55w bulbs, even cheaper if you phone them.

I used to work for an GE Electrical Distributor here in Canada and I contacted them regarding this lamp... I have bought this lamp in the past and SHOULD be able to still get them for any who want it in Canada.

For those in Canada that have a hard or impossible time getting this particular lamp it may be beneficial for you.

Ok - firstly here is the deal... The lamps come in a factory packaged box of 6. That is the best way to order them because the packaging is the best. (I would still double box and pack them though). I will ship in quantities less than 6 as well because let's face it, 6 bulbs is still kinda expensive for most.

The price should be around $34.95 per lamp (Canadian Dollars) plus Freight

I can take Paypal or money orders if required etc..

As I have said in the past "this price is NOT as competitive as some US distributors" - please take into consideration also that you may have customs fees associated with shipping etc.... this is really is only a benefit for Canadians in remote locations who are unable to source these locally I think.

PM me and I will confirm availability etc if you want to order them in. (AND NOTE I also need to bring them in.... so turn around still is a few weeks... It's not a high volume lamp and they don't stock them - special order only.
