rescaped my discus tank


any suggestions to improve the scape?

Bump: and this is where i dumped all the other plants. I will use this as my plants grow out tank.

I love it! Taking discus needs into account this is a great scape with lots of swimming room. I think it just needs time for the plants to grow out.

Yep. There are rotala stems in the back. Might take about 3 months to grow.

Enjoying that centered fullness. Even with the plants not fully grown in it looks great!

What kind of plants do you have in the foreground right side? Are you going to carpet them?

I have some clover, hair grass, sturogene , Anubias petite , glossostigma . Won't carpet but some random growth might look good in the white sand. Just enough to emphasize the island.

I put the bubbles there only because the discus is in there. Though it's a pain to take care of them, this whole tank is setup mainly for higher temperature and low maintenance. I change about 20% water twice or thrice a week. I have purigen, carbon and many other filter material in the Fluval filter. Some almond leaves and also peat to lower ph.
