Unfortunately the box is not 1Gal it is 0.7 gal. only
Useable space is 9¾ x 4 x 4¼
Not worth 3x a price for me

Actual water capacity held before out flowing is .8 gallons.

Do you have any pictures of how the pump connects to the breeder box ? I cant for the life of me figure out how it connects, and there were no instructions

Hi Toby. There should be instructions on the box. Are you referring to the air pump or the water pump? Please let me know and I'll get you those details asap!

Hi Charlene,

See photo #2. the airline tubing connects to the intake tube right near the base. The bubbles drive the water up the intake tube into the breeder box. Hope this helps. I have a simiarly sized breeder box of similar design except it didnt come with an air pump, hose nor check valves...

I just set the same one up for my betta, and the inline airvalve controls splashing and volume pretty well. I have it screwed down quite a bit. Its a smallish air pump tho, but a bleeder valve would help a big pump.

If I decide to do another one, I'll be giving the Finnex a serious look

Hi Lowe, dose this have like the I guess its called a gate/guard over where the water returns to the tank? like the marina version.

I've got one of these, and yes it does. It's removable as well.
