light for a 60 gallon planted aquarium


i might be setting up a 60 gallon planted aquarium, wondering what would be a good light i can use for all sorts of plants (low light-high light)

than tank has the same foot print as a 55 gallon just a bit higher

There are all kinds of 48" light fixtures on the market.

Before you select one, you'll need to decide what level of lighting you want to achieve. Low light? That's going to be a different fixture than you'll need for high light plants with pressurized CO2 and daily fert dosing.

If you want something that's expandable or that can be dimmed? Go with LED by building your own or buying a pre-made fixture.
