mr aqua 12g long low tech build

Hello everyone,

Not quite sure the direction i'm heading with this tank being this is going to be my first planted tank. I've been trying to do as much reading as i can on this forum. I want to keep this build low maintenance without c02 and ferts. I don't have lights or a filter yet, but i'm leaning towards a eheim 2213 for filtration and Current USA Satellite plus leds raised up from the tank to keep the par down. Would love to hear some suggestions on other leds or filters people recommend. Here are some pics of the lay out im playing with.

thats a good light choice, i want one for my 12 long as its pretty much a perfect fit for this tank.
flow is less important with low light, so filter choice is pretty open, i did a low tech 12 long with small h.o.b filters at either end, worked well and flow was just fine, didnt have any issues, i did dose ferts once a week though.

Thx Ach1LI3sH33L for the input. I really dig how your tank looks. I don't know my plants yet, would you mind telling me what you have in yours?
As for the filtration, i definitely want to pick a canister type i can hide inside the furniture so i'll prob not use hob for this project.
