Just saw aqueons version of the flora or ebi. built in filter. led lights. interesting.

It's called the aqueon evolve. To me it's more like the fluval spec with bigger tank options.

Oh man, that is EXACTLY what I've been looking for to replace my old 5.5. I wish there was a little more information about it somewhere on the web. Anyone bought one of these yet?

From the looks of them they have underpowered LEDs and as for the filtration all they are running are Aqueon's filter cartridges. I personally would get a new light and build a filter media rack that would hold a sponge and other forms of chemical filtration like purigen plus carbon if needed. Cool concept on Aqueon's part though.

I broke down and ordered one last night. Should be in my hands on Friday. I'll be sure to take many pictures and start up a journal so we can all see how functional it is, and how much modding is required to make it worth while.
