African butterfly Fish help

Hi

im getting a african butterfly fish this saterday hopfully from were i work and was wondering if anyone can tell me if they go well with dwarf gourami's

Also can I have angel fish with them As iwas thinking of getting a pair (only very small ones) approx size 3cm diamiter not including finage

I've kept mine with Dwarf Gourami's before with no issue. The butterfly is a top level guy so as long as nothing little comes near him.....

He was the only top level fishy in the tank.

Keep in mind that they do grow... eventually if your angels breed or get in the mood to do so they might become aggressive towards your butterflies. Also be sure that you don't have any nippy fish in your tank... long dangling fins are mighty tempting to many of the rowdier schooling types.

Also make sure there is a top as they like to jump.

right so im probally going to get5 one then how big do they get i herd 12cm ?
