25 gallon planted cube

This is my first planted tank which I'm very excited about. I've done tons of research and I hope it all pays off! The plants I have are Java fern, Ludwigia repens, Pennyworth and Dwarf hairgrass, I'm also going to add some Tiger lotus and more Java fern. I'm going be dosing Plantex CSM+B, KN03, and KH2P04 as per the Estimative Index Fert Method. My lighting is a diy led fixture with 13 3 watt cool white cree leds. Excuse the rubber bands I know it's an eye sore but I dont have patience trying to tie the fern down with knitting string. By the way this is day one. Let me know what you guys think, suggestions and pointers would be great (this is my first planted tank)!

What substrate are you using? CO2 setup?

I'm using Eco-complete with with root tabs from aquariumfertilizer.com and for co2 I have a brand used JBJ regulator with an ideal needle valve and JBJ bubble counter.

I used a 20'' ebay light fixture that cost me $34, my tank rim measures 18x18 so I had to cut the fixture down to 18''. The leds I purchased came from rapidled.com, I got the plug-n-play kit which made everything so much simpler. I added one more led to the kit, a total of 13 leds.

I used the dual fan kit also from rapidled.com with 40mm 3 pin connector fans on both ends of the fixture. The fans were from amazon.com, they cost $8-9 bucks a pop.

It wasnt to hard putting it all together but if you lack the tools I could see this being a crazy project.

What cableguy said, that light fixture looks legit and awesome.

About the DW though. I guess I don't like how it's all flat... and then there's a giant rise straight to the DW. Then it drops back off. If the DW were diagonal or something it would make the change much more smooth? And you'd be able to plant on the sides of DW as well. But that's just my opinion.

What are your plans for livestock?

I took more pics of the tank without all the bubbles stuck on the glass.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Pennyworth is already letting out tiny littler air bubbles and it look as if its growing new leaves too!

The Dwarf Grass is starting to turn brown though
