Guaging Interest: Pricey shrimpses

So I'm sitting here putting together a shrimp import and wondering if there is a market for some of the pricier shrimp types out there. It's been a little while since I've seen some of these offered 'round these parts, so I thought I'd ask you guys if there's any interest.

NOTE: This is not a presale and you cannot order these shrimp until they arrive. If I order them. I'm just trying to get an idea of the market for them.

Blue Panda BKK's at ~$65

Dark Blue Blue Bolts at ~$90

Carbon Rili at ~15

BKK Hinomaru at ~$200
BKK No Entry at ~$220

Wine Red Hinomaru at ~$220
Wine Red No Entry at ~$300

Let me know if anyone would be interested in things like this.

I appreciate your feedback

I would think that this market is getting a bit too saturated. Look looking at the WTB threads, it seems that low grade CRS are probably your best bet. Not many people carry them anymore.....or maybe it's just not worth the time selling the lower grade ones.

Higher end shrimp are available from other hobbiest if you take the time to look, and at prices less than what importing would cost you. I doubt you'll have many sales at those prices

Just my 2 cents

Yea, I think I'm just going to skip the expensive shrimps for now. The market in the US is really out of sync with the rest of the world when it comes to shrimp. For example: I've been unable to find any breeders/farms that wholesale good quality OEBT's for less than $9 a piece, but people here throw a fit when you try to retail them at $10. There are quite a few types of shrimp that are in that same boat.

I still want the true blue rili. Blue head, blue tail, clear mid section. I don't get how breeders can skipped this line and jumped into carbon rilis. Carbon rilis are basically saturated blue rilis.

That's getting into reef price ranges right there! All for a fragile invert. I wish I had that kind of extra money to throw around. And they're so small. I'd want something a bit larger for my money. But those expensive ones sure are pretty. Just not $300 pretty IMO.

I am curious to see what the local market demand for that pricey of shrimp is though.
