Newbie's Aquascape

Hey guys!
This is my first time aquascaping. Please criticise my tank and help me make it better

Tank dimensions: 24 inch x 12.5 inch x 15 inch (~17 gallons US)
Filtration: Aquaclear power filter 50
Light: Ocean free T5HO, 1x 24w 12000k
Fertz: Flourish Excel, Flourish comprehensive, Flourish Potassium, Iron

No Co2 injection

Plants: Narrow leaf Java Fern, Lace java fern, Anubias Nana, Anubias nana petite, Flame moss, Hygrophila Polysperma, Water sprite, Compact sword plant.

Hi,

I prefer to have a taller aquascape so maybe bigger rocks? And you should move the pipe to the side, and remove the breeder

I like how you shape the plants like it's sloping down to the left and it's steep on the right.

What are the inhabitants in there?

Fauna: 1 Bolivian Ram
8 Glowlight tetras
5 Endlers
2 Otocinclus
2 Tiger barbs (i know its a no no, someone gav it to me)
3 Horned Zebra Nerites
2 Leopard Cory (Survivors from past tanks)

It looks great now (everything is small scale) but as someone above said "bigger rocks" the plants wont stay small for long and will probably cover you're hardscape.

Exactly what I was going to say. For your first scape, you should be proud, it is very good. But, as your tank grows in, your rocks will get covered up so that may be a problem. I would correct it now, rather than waiting as it will be easier.

You don't even have to ditch the current rocks, you probably just want them in the foreground if you don't want to add bigger rocks. Or do both.

I agree with the comments about the hardscape.

On a different note, I like how your ram is watching you in both photos.

Hahas, my Bolivian ram always come to my face when im peering into the tank..
