Platys as snake food?

So you already know my question...

I have breeding platys in my QT tank, and I know that no LFS will take them. I also have a hungry corn snake.

Anyone here feed excess fish to their snakes?

Hmm... eh it probably has been done before. The platies would probably make a nice fishy treat as opposed to bugs, worms, and etc.. You are the first person who asked if platies could be food for snakes here lol. It's definitely okay, I'd say, if they are gut loaded nicely and not sick or anything..

I'm sure that they could, but your corn snake won't eat them. Corn snakes eat terrestrial prey items. Something like a garter or ribbon snake might though.
