Green thread algae on moss in nano
Getting a thread algae buildup on some xmas moss in one of my nanos. It's a 3 gallon Picotope. I recently added a clithion corona nerite to the tank, in addition to the betta that is already present. I have Excel Flourish that I attempted to dose but seemingly no affect. Is there a dosing regimen I should try based on the 3g tank size? Have begun to reduce light period. Is there anything else I can do? It's starting to overpower the moss. Will the nerite eventually start to clean off the moss, or are snails relatively ineffective at cleaning moss? He's done a good job with the glass.

IME nerites are only usefull on the glass, DW, rocks, and broad leafed plants. Have you tried to physically remove the algae?
