Pieces of My Dirt Substrate On My Sand?
I added the sand on top of my dirt in my bowl, but a few particles got on top of the sand. What do I do? I was thinking I could take a fine net and stir it up a little because they are lighter...

That's the biggest problem with mixing substrates. It eventually mixes together no matter what you do.
The net, or a gravel vac with the flow pinched down are good for getting detritus off of sand. You just have to be really careful or you'll mix things up even worse. |

Oh well, it's a biotope anyways so I would think the sand isn't pristine in rivers of the amazon tributaries...
