Gray tufts all over driftwood and spreading
I don't think its an algae but I have these gray tufts all over my driftwood. I noticed it on the large rocs and now the filter intake. I have some close up photos but I can't find my card reader. They are dark gray and in somecases have some green on them.
None of the fish seem to touch it. And I have Flagfish and wild molles in there that eat everything. Any ideas while I look for the card reader? |

Were the wood and rocks freshly added?

Mine started grayish/blackish, so I'm assuming it's BBA. I've been growing it out that it's starting to look like a mix of staghorn and BBA. Kinda gross actually...I'll take a pic when I get home. I've been meaning to send it to sewingalot anyway, lol

No, the rocks and wood have been in there since the beginning. I believe I filled the tank the last week of June.

It's BBA. I still can't find my card reader but I looked it up on Google images that's what it is.
Ok, at least I know who my enemy is. |
