I work now just not making as much as i'm used to =p, thank you though. the repens is bouncing back I may change soil to give it fresh rooting ground

I hate that. I am making about half of what I made as a machine operator. It sucks. I hope you get back to work man. What did you do before you got laid off?

I was a mechanical engineer


organic potting soil, but it smells a little mature so a change is in order, will help with the melt, just glad it isn't melting anymore, time for recovery

Wow. Way above my intelligence level. Lol.

I used Scott's Premium Potting Soil. I think in these setups, it may be better to get the stuff with the plant food in it. I am getting a few yellow leaves but not many and everything is growing like weeds.

Don't think i mentioned but my bristlenose plecos just spawned a few weeks ago, once they are ready to move i'll be donating them or trading them and rescaping =p

Upgrading filtration to two ocean clear 325 Powered by a quiet one 2200 which I'm assuming will be under 5-6 feet of head. I'm also in the middle of getting co2 up

the lotus was taken out I don't really have a pic of this tank currently that isnt on my phone, all the amazons were replaced with beautiful l aromatica 'broad leaf' and some ludwigia inclinata verticulata red. i also just purchased a 50g starfire reef ready cube that i'll be replacing this tank with, its 24"x24"x20" i'll be making a new journal when i set it up, everything is going to be ridiculously overdone, including lights and filtration, plants will be mostly reds with the starougynes moving over also, new rocks and manzanita

Going to be torn down in the next few weeks I may recycle the tank chop it in half and use it for my Betta biotope. This is getting replace by an ultra high tech rimless 50g starfire tank.
