Algae help please!

Can anyone confirm that this is diatoms or is it something else. It started out on my rocks and is now on my anubias leaves and there is also some on the driftwood. I can sort of rub it off the leaves but not very well. What are some ways to remove I heard some mystery snails can control it? Thanks

Looks like diatoms. Creepy tank you got there! Where is the Anubias?

Yup, snails will clear it up. Or BN plecos, ottos, SAE's might pick at it as well.

Given time it might just go away if it's a newish tank.

This is very true. I will get some on my glass for a few weeks anytime I do a major cleaning of a filter, but it goes away.

Didn't get a pic of the anubias camera battery got to low to take any. The tank is not to new but has only been set up for about 6 months or so.
