I purchased online, I also tried LFS but they melted in just few days. Now i am looking to see if someone locally has them. I just need few stems but I dont want to deal with shipping. Anyone in mass with Rotala Macrandra Red, please pm me. I will pay for the plant.

When right shipping method isn't used: plant melts.

I have found that Macandra likes to melt. And usually does so before roots form. So, if you let it float for a few days, it should start to send out the Arial roots. Then you can plant it. once you get it going in your tank though... it GROWS...
