Lobelia Cardinalis

I have reciently added some Lobelia Cardinalis to my aquascape and it has done very well. I want to clip the tops of some plants but was wondering if the remaining stem will grow new stems? Or do I need to remove the whole plant and cut the top and just replant that?

Here is a picture of the Lobelia Cardinalis I have. The picture is not a updated picture, plants are now larger than shown.

You can cut the top plant it and leave the bottom. The bottom will start growing again.

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

After growing this plant for about 3-4 weeks, the plants branched from the bottom of the stem and I clipped these off and replanted the new shoots, with roots, to make new plantlets and increase my stand of Lobelia. My goal is a Lobelia foreground (you don't see too many of these) and at $5 a pop at the LFS, this is an easy way to make the most of my initial investment.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
