Your points are not gone and you are not starting over. When the new website is up, your old account will be restored to that website and you will be able to use your points. Any orders you place on your new account will be transferred to your old account as soon as the new web site is up and running!

Trying to place an order tonight but the website seems to be a bit broken. It worked fine all week while I was browsing the stuff I wanted.

Edit: disregard that, website seems to be functioning normally now.

Just want to note what great customer service Big Al's has.

Ordered an Eheim 2213 a week ago and it came without a hose. Rather than make me deal with Eheim, BA is sending a new hose tomorrow without me having to ask!

This isn't a merchant review by any means (trust me - it'd be a long, super-positive one) but you can't beat service like that.

I will second "somewhatshocked"'s opinion. Ordered an Eheim 2217 that came damaged and one quick phone call had a new cannister on it's way immediately! There is a reason this is my favorite place to buy aquarium supplies!!!

The last company we had teamed with for our site has fallen through as well. We decided the best option is to avoid these issues all together by bringing our site in-house.

Sounds good, you guys are the best and great prices. I have purchase things from you guys many times. Never had a problem alway came within a day or 2 maybe because New York City is not far from you guys. And ya I would like to use my VIP points :P

Just got my latest order yesterday. Thankfully the lights I needed desperately as replacements for blown bulbs showed up Friday. Kudos to whoever might have figured that out in the shipping department and got that part of my order out quickly.
