Hmmm...what size tank did you make? How much did it cost? I've never worked with acrylic so I don't have a good sense of how much each sheet would weigh for a reasonably sized tank.

I orignally research pricing on making my own acrylic tank because anything big was going to be a problem getting into my basement. I wanted to do 300gal but it was too expensive. I ended up buying a brand name acrylic instead.

Reason I brought up making your own is because you are looking for something small. Whenever I go to the store, I always see their pile of scrap acrylic and some pieces are really good. I've been meaning to go there and pick up a few pieces to make divider and tops.

If you have a good sense of what size of acrylic you need, head over there with a tape measure and find the piece that suit your need. Best part about the store is that it's near old city but they have their own parking lot.

ye Jason, i keep 3 cpo in a small 8 inch x 12 ince x 8 inch section , all of females,9 got barried in there, and never killed each other yet


this is my fish room
i have a plan to build one more rack for right side (5ft) and this is the last spot i can add tanks






i was gonna build a 4 level rack using these acrylic tanks(6 of 15gal 24x12x12) , but since this is my last chance to add more tanks
, i absolutely want wide aquariums to breed some cichild (24x24x18)
so wait for me, i will build my own in few months

That's what I'm thinking. Part of my plans for next week during break is to build all or most of the plumbing to connect the tanks into one system. I wanted to do it awhile ago, but people kept telling me it was a bad idea because it spreads disease. But between 5 large tanks and minimal fish, I don't think I'll have any problems. Worst comes to worst, I just shut down the return pump and only use the system for massive water changes.

If you want some HC pots would be $3 or a 3"x5" mat would be $6.

Again, Im trying to place a large order from my supplier early next week. These prices Im quoting everybody is basically my wholesale price plus the price of shipping distributed back over each item. Let me know who's interested. The more the merrier and the beter pricing. I already have orders from Fishies and Moon. And to clarify I don't want money up front for anything. I don't work like that. It makes me uncomfortable to hold people's money if I'm not handing them a product. Too many things can go wrong for everybody.
