What we could possibly do is meet up and all go over together for those of you who want stuff. I dunno....just talking out of my butt it seems. I guess what I'll do is let everyone know the next time I'm heading over to his place. If you want something then you guys can paypal me the money, so I don't get shortcut and you can either pick it up from me or we can arrange to have it mailed.
sorry. could have been a misinterpretation on my part. if you get enough interest, let me know. however you want to work it out works for me. i'm easy.....lol

He was willing to part ways with 55 gallons and 75 gallons for $1 per gallon, but some tanks are drilled and I don't like to pay that much for used aquariums. He also painted the back and sides of all his tanks blue, which I'm not exactly a fan of if I want to use it for anything else other than displaying/breeding fish.

He has expensive linear pumps able to power whole fish rooms, Aquaclear filters for $40 each (110 model), $30(50 model), a bucket full of heaters that I didn't get a price on, and huge storage containers for his RO water since he was doing discus.

I'm not exactly trying to be the middle man in all this though. You can imagine how annoying that would be. The only reason I'm not giving you his contact information outright is because I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be happy if I sent people to him looking for only a few items each because he really doesnt want to do that haha. Plus I'm not in the area anymore, won't see him again for at least a week and a half.

That setup for $3000 is a steal.

Normally I add some vodka in the water. Make it easier for those male shrimp.

I'm on craigslist at least once a day. I always have a post of my own up there too. Every time I see an awesome deal on there for like a 150-200 gal tank I cringe and think to myself....wish I didn't have to buy books for school. But then I realize...even if I had the money to buy it, I wouldn't be able to get it in my basement anyway because of the sheer size of the tank.

I'll be sure to let everyone know when I plan on heading back. I'm thinking I'll definitely head over either the 17th or 18th, that Saturday being more likely. By that point I don't know what he'll have left, but he did say he wasn't going to piece away his entire setup with all his drilled tanks. Maybe by the time we get there he will realize, piecing stuff out might be the way to go.

I'm trying to save up a couple hundred for that trip though. I would like to pick up some more filters and tanks.

Anyone interested in trading some swordtails for some plants? I picked up some red and white swords from lotsoffish off aquabid, but I've lost interested in them. Plus I think they're probably eating any of the fry that my platies are producing....and I like those platies! I have about 4 or 5, one of them is a young fish only about an inch, but he's really colorful. Would be willing to trade for a couple nice rhizomes of anubias, java fern, or whatever else you have that I might like
