55g CRS

I tore down an immersed crypt tank and setup a submerged tank about two weeks ago. This tank is intended for CRS only, along with half a dozen of ottos.

It has been running for about two weeks with two aged canister filters.

Current residents I picked up yesterday from Shawn (kangshiang). The color on his shrimps are real vibrant. Below are his 3 ss+ with a blotch of red on the back of the shrimp.

I'll update this later as the tank and shrimp population matures. I am also expecting another shipment of CRS today. Hopefully they will make the trip.

This will be EPIC once the plants fill in. I am in the middle of setting up a similar scape on my 60.

idex - I took out a third of my 90g's stock and sold half of what uprooted and planted the rest in this 55g.

That tank looks pretty good. Love the driftwood. Very natural looking.

I think those are seriyu stone. I bought them from a local club auction.

I live by the foothill and I did collect a few rocks from my backyard though. They are in my 90g.

It has been about a month since the shrimps were added. I found one berried last night.

Hopefully the eggs are able to hatch.

I also added red coral pencil fish. Is this shrimp safe?

Keep your temperature low, and don't add anything new to the tank EVER unless its been run through quarantine for 2 weeks!!!
