Odyssea T5? 55 gal lighting

I was planning on finally planting my 55 gallon. The problem before was that my light is broken. I was looking for lights and came across Odyssea T5HO:

I have heard some people say their quality is terrible but reviews on that site say otherwise. Does anybody own Odyssea lights and can share some of their experiences with it? If not, what kind of low-budget lighting would you recommend for a 55 gallon? Thanks.

I have 2 36" fixtures over a 125. They are ok, especially for the price. They've upped their game a little bit from their past lighting disasters. I did change out a bulb from each fixture with 10k bulbs, so each fixture has a 6700 and 10k bulb in it.

How long have you been using them for?

Since January, working pretty well considering the depth of the tank.

I have a 4x54 on my 55 gallon and only use two bulbs at a time. I have not had a problem at all with it. I have had it for about 2 months. I like them and for the price you can buy four of them for the same price as an expensive set up.

I'm currently using the 24" 2 bulb setup on my 25 high. I had to remove one bulb because I got algae growth within two days with a lime green drop checker. I'm going to try running both again soon to 0see what happens.

So far I'm satisfied with the unit, but keep in mind it replaced a 2 bulb coralife t5no combined with a single solarmaxx t5no.

Been using the 36" 2 bulb fixture since November. Works great. I changed one of the bulbs to a FloraMax. Haven't had a single issue. I've left it on for a week straight. Ballast never heated up. Great for the money and free shipping too. Im about to buy another one for a tank Im setting up.
