Pretty nice D
I think you should put some plants with colors like red. This way there will be a contrast in your layout

No co2 on this one. This tank will probably stay no co2.

Still ordering parts to get my first pressurized co2 system set up on my 180. Very excited . Can't wait to see the difference in the plant growth.

I agree. I will need to get some more reds in there... the tank is still in recovery mode after tearing it down and moving it up stairs. It had some algae break out... It is just now starting to get healthy again. So I'll have to start experimenting with some new plants now that everything is getting in balance again.

Thanks everyone for all the nice comments. This is my first planted tank.

Just got plants growing in it last year...

Long story short: I realized that I had 420nm aquatic bulbs in the tank for the past 4 years. They came with the fixture at the time I bought it from a LFS chain they told me this is the fixture I needed for my tank....they had the same fixture over a tank with many community fish (no plants). So for years I killed every plant I put in there until I gave up on plants. Then 4 years later one of my bulbs burnt out and I realized these are not bulbs for planted tanks!! Funny how we learn and sometimes it takes a long time and hard lessons to get to where were going.

LOL...So this is the first year I've had the right bulbs over my tank and am able to grow plants.... so its nice to see the tank come together and hear some good responses.

I can't believe how much more I know now about planted tanks....this forum has so much to offer it's amazing!
