Best Method to Diffuse Pressurized CO2
Question about injecting the pressurized CO2 into my tank....currently am using the nutrafin ladder seen here....
I have also given thoughts of using a Reactor 500...seen below.....just wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to which would be better at actually diffusing the CO2.....as it stands right now my hagen ladder is doing well....just loosing some bubbles through the top (running it at 2-3 bps) Last edited by Gafi; 09-05-2011 at 05:21 PM.. |

IMo a rex griggs reactor would be beast for you, just get a pump you can use outside of the tank and run water from the tank to the powerhead and down the reactor with co2 injecting in it and back into the tank, never seen bubbles when used correctly

A rex style reactore works pretty well. Right now, Im using one of those little tiny marina 3 gallon aquarium filters and im running my Co2 to the air inlet.
