RCS Egg Color Change!

Today when I went to check on my RCS that has been berried for about 3 weeks, I noticed that one of my berried shrimp eggs changed color from yellow -> darkish green.

At first I thought it was a darkish tan color but somehow it turned green.. I think it might be from the plants? :/ But I also noticed some black dots inside the eggs when i zoomed in!

Does anybody know how longer I need to wait for them to hatch?

Thats normal, they should be hatching soon since you say you can see the eyes(black dots).

Just wondering, your filter is protected against baby shrimp correct? The baby shrimp is so small it can craw through anything. I get baby shrimp in my canister filter, but I keep them there for a while since they seem to do okay, plus they are safe from the fish until they grow larger.

At 75F my CRS took 4 weeks, I haven't tested neos.

That's about what my 10G is... It fluctuates between 73 and 76.

This awesome FIRE RED vendor I know from the Bay Area sent me a lovely berried lady with a belly full of GREEN eggs. She's had a bad day, but she is still with me.

If she passes away, I'm harvesting the eggs... or trying to, anyway!
