1 t5ho or two? Help!

I have a 29 gallon currently running two t8s at 20 watts each. Looking to get more light but not be forced to get co2.
Should I do 1 t8 and 1t5ho or just get a dual fixture? Thanks in advance

3 T8 bulbs would give you good light, but not require CO2, even though CO2 would help the plants a lot. Even one T5HO by itself would require CO2.

Haha for real. Thanks hoppy. So u would not do a single t5 with out co2? I'm dosing excel if that makes a difference. With 3 t8s would I be able to do some baby tears? Or dwarf sag

I have a 29 gallon as well, using Catalina Aquarium fixture its a 4x24 watt t5ho with 4 individual reflectors, this is my first post, but Ive been a member of sfbaaps for a while. I love the light, its quite and powerful, I just upgraded to a 50 gallon and this light is too small, if your interested in buying it PM or email me!

2 switches 2 power cords, you will have no problems growing with this light!!
