It's gotten to be a real chore making the rounds to different stores looking for interesting stock, and rare fish seem to be harder to find than in the past. So, here's the thread where you can share your more interesting discoveries...

1/14 Female Dwarf Grouamis (been a while since I've seen any of those)
Rancho Pets and Feed

1/15 Red Tail Zebra Loaches (never seen them)
Aquarium World

Please include the date and try your best to post a link to a picture on the web...common names can be easily confused. Lastly...nobody is perfect. If you are afraid to drive some distance on the chance someone here is not telling the truth or that their recollection is inaccurate, call the store.

My wife's parents live in Rancho. I will have to check that place out when I'm there next week.

They had a better selection 5 or 6 years ago. Mostly run of the mill stuff now...they're pretty small.

Saw some fly river turtle (aka pig nose) over the weekend. Definitely something different, but this is in NorCal instead and in a 1200 gallon tank.
