Tree canopy

I'm working on a plan for a tree-like deal in my 30 tall. Originally, I was thinking a moss canopy supported across the branches with fine netting or something.

Would it look odd or out of scale with a bunch on Anubias petite attached to the branches? Do the root stay close or do they reach down to the substrate?

Root will try to reach down. I actually looks cool like in the jungle.
