Hagen Glo T5HO single bulb fixture mounting legs question

Can the Hagen Glo mounting legs fit on a non-rimless tank? I'm thinking yes but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

Yep. I had them on a rimmed tank and they were fine. You just need to seat them a little lower. There's like a weird groove ladder...er..stairstep thing that will fit onto most rims.

It will be fine. I had the Dual Hagen GLO fixture on rimless tank with no problem. Just don't clamp it so tight. Could risk cracking the tank.

Not to hijack the thread. But do u mind giving a review on the GLO? I'm getting the double fixture. I would really appreciate it. How's the timer? And the reflector? Are there anythings you don't like? Again sorry about the question just haven't gotten response on my thread

I love my Single 24" version. Just make sure you get the one with the timer, there is no ON/OFF switch. At least not on mine.

I'm using the Hagen GLO 36" double on my 40B and it works great. Yes, it doesn't have a timer, but no big deal in my opinion. I just spent a couple extra bucks and hooked it up to a timer.

I've been using the Hagen Glo 48" dual 54w fixture for about 2 years now.

Great illumination and the enclosure doesn't get hot at all. I don't use the clamps and just set the fixture on the rim of my 55gal standard. You can get away with that due to some nice waterproof socket covers that are included with the fixture and slide over the bulb ends.

I don't have the timer on mine, but it's no biggie cause I run the lights and CO2 on the same timer anyway.
