My pride and joy

I have had this tank for a month or two more and just today got the items required to make it complete. Now I know, no plants?! Those are coming next meanwhile, here is my 55g brackish tank.

I have two lighted sections. One is a coralife, will be planting only on this side. The other has a basking light and UV B light for my turtle.

Squirt the map turtle loving life on his basking station.

Chillin, not givin a damn.

Three bumblebee gobies, soon to be at least 7 more.

There is also a red claw crab in there...somewhere

I will be planting it soon and will update with pictures galore when I do!

I really appreciate tanks like this because they break the norm (i include myself in the norm). Bumble bee gobies are one of my favorite fish and those along with the rest of your stock are a great mix. I may PM you to get some info on your turtle keeping!

Actually no, map turtles are not veggie eaters. Mine eats primarily blood worms, I keep him well fed and he never nips at any of my fish. Not once have I seen him show any aggression or interest in any of the fish. Most of the time, in fact, he's out of the water basking.

Hunterlook, feel free! It's my first turtle in a very long time but I have definitely done my research and will share any information I have.
