to all longisland growers

i am cyling my next tank 10 gal that i plan to breed maybe kribs in but not 100% sure yet. looking to breed somthing though.

where would be the best place to buy plants and what would be the best/easiest plants to grow?
-as of now have no co2 but might make a diy co2.
-as for lights i was alittle low on money so i have a 100w reptial light hanging about 1.5-2 feet above the tank. seems good for now...
-have a few plants in there but kinda just random buy :x dont no names...

i live in islip (western suffolk)

let me know if u have some advice, thanks all

Not many places to get plants.

Pets Warehouse in Copaigue has them. My prices are about 30% cheaper though.

Still, easy to visit the store. They carry a small amount of plants.

thank very much gordon ill deff keep that in mind. what would be some easy growing plants to start with? i was thinking maybe some kind of sword? i really have no idea lol.

also do u think that light would work?

I found most rotolas (especially rounditfolia & colorata) to be extremely undemanding and fast growing. With the small leaves, it will make your 10g look better. However, it does make a mess if you handle them too roughly in the water (many small floating leaves). Crypts, java ferns, and anubias tend to be undemanding as well. Of course ferts will discourage discoloration, pinholes, etc.

i will be home today and tomorow then back to school till spring break 15th-24th.

i dont no the price range so just tell me an honest fair amount and its a deal.
sorry if i am annoying, but also water lettuce(the floating plant) same deal with price.

also has anyone ever bought the bulbs they sell at petco... there called "live assorted aqua plant bulbs" anyways they were 3$s so i picked them up. if they dont grow oh well it was only 3$s. (aponogeton/onion/waterlily
