Weirdest dreams to deal with your fish?

I have dreams about fish in tanks. I'm not a fish type of guy and can't even touch one in a tank. Absolutely fine touching them in the wild though(fishing, etc..) So I have nightmares of large tanks with lots of fishes in them, worse one being one flopping on the ground chasing me.

I like shrimps!

I've had a dream where my second Betta, Ton-yen, was the size of a whale. He was swimming through the air and trying to eat me and other people.

I have this dream at least once a week.

I walk into my room to find my window is wide open and all the Blyxa is missing from my tank. I start to panic so I run to the window and see someone running down the driveway with a plastic grocery bag full of my Blyxa. I yell. The end.

My White Clouds were spawning for the first time, and eggs were being spread all through the Lilaeopsis. I was ecstatic, near bouncing with joy, because this was my first time having any spawn (besides snails!). I went to bed, deciding whatever happens happens, they know what they're doing, and they don't need my monitoring them. I woke up about 6ish, threw the covers off, and ran to the tank, reminiscent of a child on Christmas. The minnows looked hungry, a few eggs were eaten, so I fed them, and started my morning.... I woke up again, and the immediate thought in my morning-bleared mind was "I need to check on those minnows!" But, it was a dream, with no spawn at all.

And then this morning I dreamt all the minnows were panicky; I did a head count, and found the school was missing one. I asked them what happened, and they swarmed me with all their small voices. I told them, "Calm yourselves, one at a time." They explained that one of theirs had been sucked up against the Tetra Whisper. So I stuck my arm in the tank, with all the little fish around my hand, watching and murmuring, and unstuck the filter from the back of the tank, and shook it. No minnow fell from the intake grate, so I unplugged it, and took the filter apart, and these little ground fish bits went all over the tank, and were speedily ingested by the other minnows. Which led me to wondering about their integrity, and how exactly that minnow was sucked in the filter, and I passed that tank with caution throughout the dream.

I got up, and related the dream. They said, "And you don't get freaked out that your fish talk to you??"

In all my years of aquarium keeping, I don't recall ever having a dream about my fish or of aquariums in general. I've definitely had dreams about seeing fish in the oceans and/or scuba diving though.

my girl said she had a dream that we had of bunch of discus in our tank, which is good..., the more she likes the fish the more I can get...

Me too! Glad to see I'm not alone. It's so bizarre and vivid, their fins are just flowing in the air as they float around. My dreams have lots of bettas.

I am going to have a slope in my tank. While I was falling asleep I wrote an equation for the slope in y=mx+b. I sat straight up in bed and thought, "Oh my god, algebra has infiltrated my sanctuary." Scariest dream/doze ever!

By the way the equation was y=1/3x+5/3 I am just glad I didn't try to graph it!

I have a reoccurring dream where my fish tank exploded (it's actually a memory from the 94 earthquake when we lived in Northridge). The front of the tank just shatters and the water just pours out towards my bed - fish, plants and all. Full grown angels, fry everybody dies.

Last night I had a dream that someone ate my angels' fins off and they were just like rolling around in there... and then when I got up I fed them and they looked like they were missing fin pieces but they're fine! phew

Well, you NEVER know, they look so hungry, but then they are so fat.... But also I've been having dreams about rummaging around in the freezer, and then someone interjects that I 'ought to try the cottage cheese flavored ice cream; it's much better than chocolate'

I had a dream, not with my fish but fish in it. We bought a house (I guess) and the basement was CRAZY! It had an enormous tank in it, like an aquarium for sharks or something, I saw garibaldis in it. There were koi pond type things but when I went into them to look around they had gigantic moray eels in them! The morays broke loose of the little "ponds" and were after me and a white tip reef shark was in the big tank and it (like jaws) started bumping the tank to break it and eventually it did. Then I was in the water trying to out swim like 5 GIANT morays and some reef sharks. I died lol
