Anyone try this with pressurized CO2

I saw this an thought it might be some thing to think about for use with pressurized CO2.

Not this one specifically but one similar perhaps.

Anyone have any thoughts? Do you think it would accomplish anything good towards diffusion? Might it be too much restriction to water flow?

That idea works fine, but the venturi has to be sized so the water flow velocity through the throat of the venturi is high, so it drops the pressure there substantially. That lets the high speed flow shear the CO2 bubbles into very tiny bubbles. And, don't ever use this with DIY CO2 - it will cause the bottle to collapse with the partial vacuum, sucking out all of the yeast/sugar mixture and putting it in the aquarium.
