pardon my ignorance.. but what do you call that "grass-like" plant in your nano? I'm sure I've never seen that before in my LFS.

Thanks

PS- looks good btw

I don't see anything visible that the riccia is attached to. In my nano tank, I used small pieces of slate and wrapped fishing line around them. What are you using in your tank?

I am an expert on algae, so ask me if you have questions. I know how to grow it, just not how to get rid of it.

yes. i am doing the same. just put more riccia on side of the slate. It will fully covered the side of slate after grown.

Dom, in the second tank, how long did it take the riccia to completely cover the bottom like that, and is that one large piece of slate, or several small pieces? Did you do any filtering or CO2? (I LIKE that tank. )

You folks lately have been twisting my arm with the Nano tank posts. I am really thinking of getting something in the 2.5 gallon range for work. Thanks

I really like that last one. Is that.....moneywort....maybe pennywort on the left center? It looks really good and is well trimmed. I don't really recognize that plant though.
