Distributed computing team?

Anyone interested in teaming up for Folding@home? It's a program for figuring out how proteins fold up and other such cool stuff. Details at http://folding.stanford.edu/. I run it on my Google toolbar. How about a Planted Tank team?

Hmmm..... I guess I could get out of my SETI@Home team. I have completed 12,306 SETI units. I have six computers here on the home network. Four of them run SETI full time, the other two run it as a screen saver. As soon as I can find the time I will be adding one more machine to the network

Folding@home runs on a lower priority than seti@home, so they shouldn't conflict (they don't on my machine, anyway). Basically, the folding program cranks away during those idle moments when you are reading posts, thinking of what to write, etc. when your browser is open.

I don't want to come off as a seti-basher, but...may I just point out that folding@home is probably a touch more...um...productive than seti@home?

Folding@home could help yield cures for cancers and diseases like Alzheimer's, where seti@home could produce a few interesting blip sounds.

Anyway, I think the idea of a plantedtank team is great. Sign me up if it gets started.
