The ones I got were the last critters in the LFS tanks. I plan to add more after I let the tank settle for a few weeks.

The tank is comming into its own. The tank is fully planted now with a mix of Crypts, Hygros, Lilys, Java ferns, java moss, and Anubias. I had ich rip through the tank in March and let it sit for a month before adding a few more additions. I upgraded my lights to include a 4 bulb and 2 bulb AquaticLife fixtures. I also replaced the Whisper 5 with a Whisper 3, added a Marineland C-220 cannister filter and added a 4 inch bubble wand.

I'm now keeping my pH at around 6.4 down from 7.4 with CO2 dosing. I am also dosing all macros and micro nutrients from seachem.

Updated Fish List:

1 Endlers Livebearers. (Poecilia wingei)
1 Red Line Barb (Puntius denisonii)
2 Sparkling Gouramis (Trichopsis pumilus)
1 White Angelfish (Pterophyllum sp.)
1 Bristle Nose Pleco (Ancistrus cirrhosus)
1 Red Common Pleco (Hypostomus plecostomus)
1 Blue Phantom Pleco (Hemiancistrus sp.) L128
2 Red Lizard Cats (Rineloricaria lanceolata)
4 Peppered Cory Cats (Corydoras paleatus)
6 Violetta Cory Cats (Corydoras similis)
2 Glowlight Tetras (Hemigrammus erthrozonus)
1 Columbian Tetra (Hyphessobrycon columbianus)
1 Lemon Tetra (Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis)
1 Bleeding Heart Tetra (Hyphessobrycon erythrostigma)

Going shopping this weekend for a pair or two of Apistogramma critters. I'm not sure which I'll pick up but the LFS I'm visiting typically has around 10 varieties.

How would you compare the difficulty between freshwater planted and saltwater live corals?

Tank looks great.

I've kept A. agassizii in the past. I believe they were called "santarem blues". They're nice fish for sure. I've never kept cockatoos though I'm not opposed to that species.

Same amount of work... To be frank, I spend more time tinkering with my water parameters and battling algae in my planted tank than I ever did in my reefs. I don't believe reefs or planted tanks are difficult to keep if you do some proper planning and invest in quality equipment.
